1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all events organised, hosted, or presented by Union House, including live music, talks, workshops, private gatherings, industry events, and community sessions, whether paid or unpaid, ticketed or RSVP-based.

2. Eligibility & Entry

  • Events are 18+, unless otherwise stated.

  • Valid ID may be required for entry.

  • Union House reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee at its discretion, including where behaviour, intoxication, or safety concerns arise.

3. Tickets, RSVPs & Access

  • Tickets and RSVPs are non-transferable unless explicitly stated.

  • Entry is subject to capacity limits, venue rules, and security requirements.

  • Union House reserves the right to conduct bag checks or security searches and to prohibit certain items from entry.

  • Attendance is not guaranteed without a valid ticket, RSVP confirmation, or membership where required.

4. Paid Events – Payments & Refunds

  • Tickets for paid events are non-refundable, except where required by law.

  • No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, late arrival, or early departure.

  • If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or relocated, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Refunds are not guaranteed.

5. Free / Unpaid Events

  • Registration for free or unpaid events does not guarantee entry.

  • Union House reserves the right to limit attendance, prioritise certain attendees, or cancel registrations at any time.

6. Event Changes, Force Majeure & Third Parties

Union House reserves the right to change event details, including date, time, location, format, or lineup.

Events may be postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond Union House’s control, including venue issues, artist availability, weather conditions, safety concerns, or external restrictions (“force majeure”).

Union House is not responsible for the actions, services, or facilities of third-party venues, artists, partners, or suppliers, nor for costs incurred by attendees such as travel or accommodation.

7. Conduct, Alcohol & Prohibited Behaviour

Attendees are expected to:

  • Act respectfully toward artists, staff, and fellow attendees

  • Follow venue rules and staff instructions

  • Maintain a safe environment

Intoxicated, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour — including the use of illegal substances — may result in refusal of entry or immediate removal, without refund where applicable.

8. Recording, Photography & Intellectual Property

  • Photography, video, and audio recording may take place at events.

  • By attending, you consent to being captured and to the use of such content by Union House for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes.

  • Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute event content for commercial purposes, or in a way that implies endorsement or partnership, without prior written permission.

  • Recording during private or off-the-record sessions is strictly prohibited.

9. Personal Property & Liability

  • Attendance is at your own risk.

  • Union House is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal property.

  • Union House accepts no liability for personal injury except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Data, Updates & Governing Law

  • Personal data collected in connection with events will be processed in accordance with Union House’s Privacy Policy.
